 The trip

Our trip begins in Fingal, A beautiful headland. You will receive your snorkelling gear and will be introduced to some safety procedures and the basics of Snorkelling.

The boat will take you through Tweed river, giving you a chance to enjoy the beautiful nature.

After a fun 15minutes ride we will reach Cook Island, and depending on winds and currents the guide will choose the best location for your first snorkel.

Once the boat is secured, the guide will explain the use of the Snorkeling gear, the way to swim, how to get off and back on the boat, More about the island and the marine life and other useful information.

If you stay close to the guide you will have a great chance to encounter a greater variety of life, as the guide is more familiar with the locations.

After the first dive we will move to a different location and jump in the water again.

On the way back we might encounter wild Dolphins!!

Cook Island

What makes Cook Island such a great Snorkelling destination

Discovered by Captain Cook in 1770. Also known to the locals as Turtle Island a home to many of these marine creatures. Cook IslandCook Island is a Marine Reserve full of activity. The island is not far from Fingal shore (on the border between NSW and QLD) and is a popular diving spot for tourists because of its great variety in marine life. Some marine creatures you may encounter on your adventure are turtles, the harmless Leopard Shark, a variety of tropical fish including the protected Blue Grouper, Star Fish in their natural habit and so much more. For those who aren't so confident in the water we have floating devices for your support. Where the boat is anchored you will be surprised how protected the area feels for those who are adventurous yet cautious.
