FAQ - Whale Watching
Q. | How long does the Whale Watching tour take? |
A. | The trip itself takes around 3 hours. After the trip we will have lunch and drinks at the Sheoak shack Cafe. Allow half a day for the whole experience. |
Q. | What should I bring with me? |
A. | You should bring warm clothing (the whale watching season is between July-November), sunscreen, Water, a hat and dry clothing. We provide wind stoppers. |
Q. | Will I get "Sea-Sick"? |
A. | The truth - We don't know. Our boat is a very stable vessel, but some people get a bit sick if conditions are less than perfect. There is no need to be ashamed or concerned. If you know you are sensitive - consult your doctor and take a sea sickness pill. It might make the experience a lot more pleasurable. |
Q. | Is it guaranteed that we see Whales? |
A. | As you know - The whales are not pets and there is a chance of not seeing a whale. Fortunately - We have had 100% success in previous seasons, and we hope to maintain this during this season as well |
Q. | What is the maximum amount of people per trip? |
A. | Sacred Spirit can carry 13 people but we rarely take more than 10 people on board to keep the experience personal. |
